How to choose the right AI hiring model

A practical way to choose between a dedicated AI engineer, a larger talent network, a services partner or an internal hire without turning the decision into brand comparison.

The best AI hiring model depends on the work you need owned, not the loudest vendor category.

Direct answer: choose the model that matches the risk. If the work is a production AI workflow with clear ownership, a dedicated AI engineer is usually the cleanest fit. If the work spans many unrelated functions, a broader network or services partner may make more sense.
